May the mumbling commence!
Through Christ, we are given glory. So, what are we to do with this glory? Read from the beginning of Jesus’ prayer recorded in John chapter seventeen (NIV):
After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you.” (Verse 1)
We receive glory from God through Jesus Christ. We, in turn, give that glory back to God. Just as Jesus glorifies the Father, we too must glorify the Father.
Keep none of the glory given to you by God or by the world. Render that glory unto God. Cause other people to praise their Maker.
