REJOICE; Philippians

May the mumbling commence!

Rejoice!  Did you hear that?  Rejoice!  To rejoice is to find our true way of living as Christians.  Read from Philippians chapter four (KJV):

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, “Rejoice.”  Let your moderation be known unto all men.  The Lord is at hand.
Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  Those things, which you have both learned, received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. (Verses 4-9)

What is the source of our rejoicing?  The Lord is the source.  And the Lord tells us that everything is to be done in moderation… except praising God and praying to God.  These two things will help us discern true things and just things and lovely things and virtuous things.

Let us look to one another for inspiration.  Who gives you inspiration in your life in Christ?  Who is a Paul to you?  Seek to be like that person… knowing that we are both following Christ.  But Christ has lights in this world in which we can follow.

By dong these things, we will find the peace of God.  And that peace surpasses any other peace we have ever known.

So rejoice.

Did you hear that?

Rejoice!

Enough mumbling for now…

Peace Out
