All or Nothing; James

May the mumbling commence!

With the Law of the Lord, it is all or nothing.  Therefore, we should live in the attitude of mercy over and against the attitude of judgment.  Read from James chapter two (NIV):

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.  For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not murder." If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom, because judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment! (Verses 10-13)

The Law of the Lord reflects His entire being.  If we break one of those Laws, we destroy the reflection that we are of that image.  That is a scary thought!

Thank God for mercy!  Mercy is what we are to remember when we speak and act.  Mercy allow freedom in our lives.

Be merciful and see mercy triumph over judgment!

Enough mumbling for now…

Peace Out
