May the mumbling commence!
For the beauty of the earth! Oh, creation makes my heart sing! There are wonderful verses at the beginning
of Psalm Nineteen… wonderful verses to read in this week that celebrates the
creation… the earth specifically. Read
them below:
The heavens tell of the glory of God.
The skies display his marvelous
craftsmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or a word;
their voice is silent in the
skies;
yet their message has gone out to all the earth,
and their words to all the world.
The sun lives in the heavens
where God placed it.
It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom
after his wedding.
It rejoices like a great athlete
eager to run the race.
The sun rises at one end of the heavens
and follows its course to the other end.
Nothing can hide from its heat. (Verses 1-6)
Creation has eloquence that our human words cannot
touch. Its message is without
rival. Let us take time look and
listen. If we do, we will begin to see
the wondrous love that the Lord has for all creation.
Indeed, every knee will bow before our Lord Jesus. All the knees of creation! Read from Philippians chapter two:
Your attitude should be the same that Christ Jesus
had.
Though he was God,
he did
not demand and cling to his rights as God.
He made
himself nothing;
he took
the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form.
And in human form he obediently humbled himself
even further by dying a criminal's death on
a cross.
Because of this, God raised him up to the
heights of heaven
and gave him a name that is above every
other name,
so that at the name of Jesus every knee
will bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every
tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father. (Verses 5-11)
Join the chorus of the creation in praise of the Lord
God, who created it.
Enough mumbling for now…
Peace Out
